Project Scope
eQTEL Data were awarded the ICT Contract for the state-of-the-art facility in Cork City. The system selected was a Brand-Rex Category 6A UTP 10Gigabit network with Laser-Optimised Fibre Optic links to the existing Blocks.
VHI SwiftCare Clinic, Cork
2008
eQTEL Data were contracted to install and commission a Category 6 UTP Information Transport System for VHI at their new facility in Mahon, Cork. The system was used to run all of their voice, data and BMS systems, as well as some of the ultra-modern medical equipment.
Mercy Hospital CNE, Cork
eQTEL Data were contracted to install and commission a Category 6A UTP Information Transport System for the Centre for Nurses Eductation in Cork. The system was used to run all of their voice, data and BMS systems. We also installed two Laser Links to the Existing Mercy Hospital for their voice and data links.
Edenhall Student Village, Cork
2005
eQTEL Data installed and commissioned the Category 6 UTP and Fibre Optic network for this high-end student complex in Cork. We were also responsible for the installation of a Samsung VoIP-ready voice server to run the voice network.We have since installed a new CCTV system in the complex.
Victoria Mills Student Village, Cork
2007
eQTEL Data were contracted to install and commission a Category 6 UTP and Fibre Optic Information Transport System to run all of the voice and data requirements in this award-winning student complex. We also maintain the network and Telephone System in the complex, ensuring that all students receive equal access to the high-speed broadband which we provide.
HSE Community Nursing Unit, Cork
2009
eQTEL Group were contracted to install and commission a Category 6 UTP and Fibre Optic network, as well as the complete security package for the Community Nursing Unit in Ballincollig, Cork. The security contract includes CCTV, Access Control and Inruder Alarm systems. We have since been appointed to carry out the same contracts on 5 similar HSE CNUs.
Ferrybank Shopping Centre, Waterford
We were contracted to design and install a large scale Category 6 UTP, Voice Multicore and Optical Fibre network sufficient to run the entire shopping centre.This is another landmark building in Waterford and a testament to our expertise and quality design.
Coonagh Cross Shopping Centre, Limerick
eQTEL were again contracted to design and install a large Category 6 UTP, Voice Multicore and Optical Fibre network sufficient to run the entire shopping centre.This new shopping centre boasts Tesco as an anchor tenant and all new tenants rely on our communications backbone for their services.
NRA/Superstop Amenity Buildings
2010
eQTEL were contracted to design and install a large Category 6 UTP network sufficient to run the entire amenity building and to support our high-end IP-based Security System. We have installed a state of the art IP CCTV solution, PoE Access Control, Intercom and Intruder Alarm systems in each of the six sites
